LATEST FEAST | Astronomical Pancake & Waffle House

You know those mornings you wake up and feel as if you could eat just about everything in sight? That was this weekend! After a fun but exhausting weekend vacation with friends, the boyfriend and I woke up with only one thing on our minds… FOOD!

Astronomical Pancake and Waffle House

That’s how we ended up at a place called the Astronomical Pancake & Waffle House. It was seriously ASTRONOMICAL! Not only were we supplied with crayons as we waited for our order (reliving our childhood), we were then presented with the best breakfast feast we have had in quite a while. It wasn’t anything fancy, just a standard breakfast order, but it was out of this world!

Astronomical breakfast

I am a bit of a grits snob and these were cooked to perfection! Smooth and creamy (nothing is worse than lumpy grits if you ask my grandmother). The boyfriend is a bit of a scrapple snob (aka pork mush… no joke). Although scrapple is not my cup of tea, he said it was clearly cooked by a scrapple pro.

Astronomical Cinnamon Swirl pancake

Then came the cinnamon swirl pancake, topped with whipped cream and cinnamon…. we had officially reached heaven, and somehow found room in our stuffed tummies to eat the whole thing.

If you ever happen to find yourself in Williamsburg, VA on a chilly morning, starving, look this place up! No joke, I will be daydreaming about this meal for the rest of the day.
