BOXED WINE | Lose the bottle and reach for the Black Box

Black Box boxed wine So yes, we all know boxed wine is cheaper, less “classy”, and something every American hides in the back of their kitchen cabinet. But, I’m here to tell you that every now and again we all just need a glass of boxed wine! black box awards

Don’t judge Black Box just yet. For $25 you get 3 liters of wine (4 bottles) and it tastes as if you are drinking a $13 bottle of wine (in my personal opinion). Once the box is opened, it lasts for 4 weeks!

If it’s more than one person having a glass, or if it’s for a party, then dear God please don’t whip out the box. But if it’s just you wanting a glass on a Tuesday evening after a long day in the office, then go ahead and press the button for a water fountain of red deliciousness.

Google “best boxed wines”, I dare you. Want to know what you will find? Black Box on every list! Women’s Health, Real Simple, Forbes, Wine Enthusiast… the list goes on and on.

Now when it comes to wines, I’m all about the cabs. Cabernet Sauvignon is where my heart is. That’s why I always keep a Black Box Cabernet Sauvignon on hand. It’s perfect if you live alone and want a glass of wine a few nights a week… it also can come in handy for emergency uses (tough days at the office where you need a HEAVY pour and you don’t want others to know exactly how much you have had). Black Box is great! I also like Frontera, which comes in a bottle (for when that’s necessary!) and is only $5 a bottle but you’d never guess it!
