MY FIRST | Birchbox and Rifle Paper Co.

I won’t lie, I’ve put off subscribing to Birchbox for months and months. I figured I wouldn’t like the samples or would never use them. Finally my friend convinced me to at least give it a try since Birchbox was teaming up with Rifle Paper Co., so the box itself would be worth the $10.

So, Birchbox!

Step 1: Subscribe for the monthly box and fill out a survey about your beauty product preferences and routine. That way the Birchbox fairies know what goodies to pack your box with.

Step 2: After a very suspenseful week and a half (long mailing time) and about 20 promotional emails (I need to take a look at my email subscription preferences), it finally arrives and it’s like Christmas morning!

Let’s open the box, shall we?

– Hydro Nutritive Moisturizing Shampoo

– Hydro Nutritive Moisturizing Conditioner

– Hello Body Butter

– Sheer Lip Lube Pencil

– Shaving Cream (Blueberry)

The body butter lotion is already in my purse for use on-the-go and I’ve been rocking my lip lube all week long at work! These samples aren’t small either, which makes it even more worth it! It would take me months to use up the whole lipstick… and I would probably lose it before then!

The only sample I received that wasn’t my favorite was the blueberry shaving cream…. it left a weird film on my leg and I wasn’t feeling the blueberry scent… thank goodness I only tested it on one leg first :)

Sadly, now I have to wait 4 more weeks until my next box arrives… sigh…. I want more!!!
