When it comes to holidays, I’m all about the food! Whether it’s the perfect stuffing for Thanksgiving, sugar-filled Christmas cookies for Santa, or lucky black-eyed pea soup for New Years, there are foods you just HAVE to have for special occasions.

Hence this perfect, super simple, guacamole recipe for Cinco de Mayo! Just a few ingredients and you have the makings for a dish that will be the hit of the party :)

Ingredients:

– Two ripe avocados
– 1/2 cup of corn
– One medium tomato (chopped up chunky)
– One tablespoon of finely diced onions
– A few tablespoons of lemon juice

Warning: Make sure to get sturdy chips because there’s nothing more devastating than scooping up a hefty heap of guacamole and having the chip crumble before your eyes. No Bueno :(

With a chip full of guac in one hand and a strong, tasty margarita in the other, it makes for the perfect Cinco de Mayo celebration! Olé!

What else is on your menu for the 5th?
