Okay Birchbox… we are friends again! Our relationship is no longer on the rocks (now it’s relaxing by the pool with a frozen margarita).
After not being the happiest-of-customers last month, I’m back to loving them again!
My box arrived August 9th and was filled with wonderful goodies, two of which I would give an A+ rating and would actually think about ordering a full size of (big deal in my book)! Plus, I’ve been dying to get this box design :) Summertime pool box!
So wiggle out of your coverup, slide off your flip flops, and take a dip in the pool with me (aka take a peek inside my Birchbox this month!)
I would give this product an A+. A lip stick and cheek stain all in one! I’m very minimalistic when it comes to makeup and never want to worry about more than 3 products when I get ready in the morning. I can keep this puppy in my purse and it tackles two parts of my face in one :) #WINNING
2) Balance Me – Congested skin serum
To be 100% honest, I have not tried this product yet. But, it smells amazingggggg!
3) Air Repair – Complexion boosting moisturizer
Tanning by the pool dries out my skin a lot so this little moisturizer was the best addition to my purse.
4) COOLA – Face SPF 30 unscented matte tint
Note #3 and my tanning…. I’m not the best when it comes to remembering sunscreen (sorry Mom) so this little bottle of face SPF is perfect to keep in my pool bag :)
5) Klorane – Dry shampoo with oat milk
I’ve tied other dry shampoos in the past and always found they make my hair look worse than before (fail). But, to my great surprise, this one actually worked! A+ Birchbox!

I hope so :) some of them do, but then the shipping costs are equal to the subscription costs which makes them way too expensive to try more than once. But still, who knows? Maybe it’ll open a subsidiary in Europe and cost the same :D

That is very true! I forgot how expensive shipping is international :( You should start the Europe subsidiary and get free Birchboxes for life!

I’m so glad to hear your review of Klorane’s dry shampoo with oat milk. I literally ordered that from Sephora this morning, but got it based off the reviews bc I’ve never tried it!

This box looks so cute! It definitely seems like Birchbox is stepping things up a bit compared to past boxes I’ve seen people blog about. I’ve always wanted to try the Coola brand- I hear amazing things!

I got all the same stuff, too:) Didn’t have as great a first impression of the dry shampoo, but I will be trying it out more than once to see what happens;)

Oh no! Give it a second try and see if you like it any better. Dry shampoos act so differently depending on your hair compared to others. That’s why I’ve had so much difficulty in the past with them.

Yes, it’s true. My hair tends to be more on the dry side so I only get oil build-up when I heat style my hair (which is rare). I will try it again, but maybe dry shampoos are not for me:(

Great post! I got the same dry shampoo last month and I love it so much! I’m about to run out of it (already haha) and I’m highly considering buying the full size version! Isn’t the cheeky lip thing great? I would totally shell out $20 for three of those.
