Jalapeños! The word I will never be able to spell without relying on spell check and the vegetable I cut then immediately rub my face (whyyy??)…. jalapeños are a struggle for me.
My mom didn’t cook with jalapeños very frequently in our house growing up, so whenever I see a recipe that calls for them I get a bit nervous… But when my recent soup recipe called for diced jalapeños I had to suck it up and buy a container.
Once the soup was made and devoured (with only one jalapeños used) the boyfriend saw seven whole jalapeños sitting sad and alone in my fridge… so he made his demands… Jalapeño Poppers!
Wrapped in bacon, of course :)
